Examples for
Sieves & Meshes
A sieve is a device used to separate particles of different sizes by making use of a mesh of interwoven materials. A coarse mesh allows for larger particles to pass through while a fine mesh only allows smaller particles to pass through. Sieve openings are measured in both metric and imperial units and come in many different sizes.
Specify the size of the sieve mesh opening and find the nearest standard size as well as the nearest gauges used in industry for comparison.
